Quote comparison for platforms, with a source for every value

Parsewise reads every commercial insurance offer with its policy conditions, captures the features you compare for the line of business and rates each coverage module. Every value links to the passage it came from.

Offers from many insurers, compared on the same features

Each line of business has a fixed set of features: premium, sum insured, deductible, aggregate limit and every coverage module. Parsewise captures them from the offer and its policy conditions and rates each module against the main cover.

  • Covered up to the full sum insured.
  • Restricted: a lower sub-limit or a higher deductible, with the figure stated.
  • Excluded, or optional and not selected.

Into your platform through the API

Your platform sends the offer and its policy conditions with the feature schema for the line. A webhook tells you when the run has finished. The values come back in your schema, each with a status and a link to the passage it came from.

In-house builds and toolkits hit their limits

The obvious routes are to build it yourself or to combine OCR, extraction tools and LLM calls. Both work for a while, then run into the same problems:

  • Every new tariff and every change to the policy conditions means more development work.
  • It is hard to check where an answer came from.
  • Reviewers' corrections never make it back into the system.

The broker still has to stand behind the advice

United Kingdom

Brokers record each client's demands and needs and recommend cover that is consistent with them (FCA ICOBS). A comparison that only lists premiums doesn't show whether the cover fits those needs.

United States

Failing to place the cover a client asked for is a common source of errors and omissions claims against agencies. If a comparison misses a sub-limit, the agency carries that risk.

What Parsewise does differently

A quick pilot

We start with your lines of business, offers and policy conditions, not a long IT project.

Built into your systems

Results go straight into your comparison or tender platform through the API.

A source for every answer

Every value and rating links to the passage in the offer or the policy conditions.

Learns from your corrections

When a reviewer corrects a rating, later offers are read with that correction.
